Great to meet you!

My approach is to identify dysfunctional patterns and relationships; strengthen coping skills; set healthy boundaries and to focus on personality integration. By examining our patterns of behavior and relationship over time, we set the stage for understanding and identifying the barriers to psychological and emotional growth. ACT, CBT, Mind-Body Stress Reduction strategies emphasized. I am trained as an expressive therapist with a focus on art therapy.

My approach to therapy

Theoretical influences come from ACT, analytical psychology, Jungian Therapy, Yalom's therapeutic factors, Narrative Therapy and Full Catastrophe Living. In addition, expressive therapy concepts from art therapy, sand-tray, mandalas, visualization, the relaxation response, the use of metaphor, and play therapy are referenced.

What you can expect from me

Focus on grounding strategies for managing an overactive nervous system, reducing stress, and building a healthy baseline approach to life's challenges.
