Great to meet you!

Dr. Karen L. Kennedy, LMHC, MCAP-is a licensed mental health counselor. One-size-does-not-always-fit-all so she utilizes an integrative style. Life sometimes comes with "hats" we did not choose but we certainly have a choice in how we feel, think, and respond! As a certified EMDR clinician with a trauma-informed care approach, she personally tailors a good fit while stitching in CBT.

My approach to therapy

What one will quickly realize when working with me is that I believe, live, and encourage the importance of establishing and maintaining boundaries and balance. It is my personal belief that when you achieve boundaries and balance in life, the deepest-rooted trauma and minor concerns become clearer and the path of identifying and living a unique order in life becomes obtainable. I enjoy meeting each unique client where they are in their stage of readiness.

What you can expect from me

It is my personal mission statement to maintain order, balance, and boundaries in life. I enjoy helping others identify and create their personal unique order and find the hat that works for them! With EMDR techniques, we’ll clear out your old hat boxes, including some that you may have even forgotten were hidden away. Let’s identify strengths, build upon them, and learn new ways of coping. Let’s prioritize the “hats” you wear. I look forward to supporting you with a smile.
