Great to meet you!

Life can be hard. Sometimes anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, ADHD, or major life changes leave you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the person you want to be. You may know something needs to change but aren't sure where to start.

For more than 30 years, I've helped teens, adults, and older adults navigate life's challenges and build healthier, more fulfilling lives. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can explore what's holding you back, gain new insights, and develop practical strategies for moving forward.

I believe everyone has a "best self" within them. Sometimes difficult experiences, stressful circumstances, or old patterns can get in the way. Together, we'll identify those obstacles and create a path toward the life you want to live.

My approach to therapy

No two people are exactly alike, which means therapy shouldn't be one-size-fits-all.

My style is warm, collaborative, and flexible. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy, tailoring our work to your unique needs and goals.

Whether you're working through anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, grief, stress, or a major life transition, we'll focus on both understanding what's happening and building practical tools that help you create lasting change.

My goal is for therapy to feel useful, empowering, and relevant to your everyday life.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel intimidating. Many people worry about opening up to someone they don't know or wonder if therapy will actually help.

During our first session, we'll talk about what's bringing you in, what you'd like to change, and what you hope to get out of therapy. You'll have space to share your story at your own pace, and together we'll begin creating a plan that feels realistic and achievable.

Many clients leave their first session feeling relieved to have a place where they can talk openly and begin moving toward solutions.
