Great to meet you!

Welcome. I’m Karen, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). I work with adults and adolescents who are navigating challenges such as depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship stress, and major life transitions.

My approach is collaborative and strengths-based. I support clients in developing healthy boundaries, strengthening communication skills, and identifying coping strategies that genuinely fit their lives. Together, we work toward healing, personal growth, and greater emotional balance.

I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel empowered to explore your experiences, reconnect with your strengths, and move through life’s challenges with confidence and intention.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, warm, and person-centered. I believe in meeting clients where they are and supporting them in moving toward where they want to be. I draw from a blend of therapeutic modalities, tailoring interventions to each individual rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach.

At the core of my work is a strengths-based framework and a strong therapeutic relationship. Creating a safe, supportive space is essential for meaningful growth and healing. I focus on helping clients build emotional awareness, understand their thought patterns and behaviors, and recognize how these patterns show up in their lives. Together, we develop practical tools and coping strategies that align with their values, needs, and goals.

What you can expect from me

During your first session, you can expect a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental environment. I will walk you through each step of the process and take time to get to know you, your concerns, and what brings you to therapy. This initial session focuses on gathering important information that helps inform a personalized treatment plan tailored to your goals and needs.

My approach is consistently warm, client-centered, and grounded in meeting you where you are. Whether it’s our first session or a later one, you can expect a space where you feel heard, supported, and actively involved in shaping the direction of our work together.
