Great to meet you!
My name is Karen, and I work with individuals and families, who are ready-or close to being ready-to move beyond just getting by and start feeling better about themselves and their lives. My approach combines deep, compassionate listening with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), solution focused techniques, and other practical tools you can use in your everyday life. I have more than 10 years of experience working in a variety of medical settings, such as hospice, inpatient adult rehabilitation hospital, and outpatient children’s hospital. I have two masters degrees in social work and public health.
