What you can expect from me

In your first session, I will spend some time getting to know you and the issues that brought you into treatment. I may use a formal, structured interview, or it may just feel like a more free-flowing conversation. You should feel safe, accepted, respected, and relatively comfortable. It’s important to me that therapy feels useful to you. At the end of each session, I check in to see how you felt during the session and review key points with encouragement. I am a caring supporter of change.
