Great to meet you!

Prior to counseling, I had a career as a horse trainer until an accident left me paralyzed from the waist down. I joke that a love of reality television led me to the field of mental health, but it was actually the success I had in my own counseling journey. I love people and I love my job; this is absolutely my passion. Therapy can be hard, but it can also be fun. Did I mention that I love my job?

My approach to therapy

I have worked with those experiencing trauma, anxiety, and depression, as well as phase of life problems. I am EMDR certified and love doing different things in therapy, at the client's comfort level, of course.

What you can expect from me

My hope is that clients leave my room feeling safe, heard, and validated, as well as less overwhelmed than when they entered. Solutions if they are needed, even if the solution is acceptance. But more than anything, that they feel ready to come back and make the changes they want for themselves.
