I have earned my master's degree in Professional Counseling and am working on my doctorate degree in Counselor Education and Supervision. I have worked with adults ages 18+ experiencing mental health and substance use disorders as well as children ages 8-12 and teenagers 13-17. I have experience with mood disorders, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, co-occurring disorders and other mental health disorders.

My approach to therapy

I offer my clients a person-centered approach utilizing warm acceptance and unconditional positive regard. I work with my clients to become the best person that they can be. I utilize other theoretical approaches such as CBT, DBT, positive psychology, mindfulness, and others.

I am open-minded and accepting of others. I do not discriminate against anyone. I am efficient at building a positive therapeutic alliance with my clients. Rapport building is an essential part of my sessions. It is extremely important to me that my clients feel comfortable with me. I believe it is important for my clients to feel comfortable with me and willing to open up to me.
