Starting with internships at the University of Vermont Medical Center on an inpatient psych unit followed by training at the VA Hospital in White River Junction, VT, Karen has had the opportunity to work with a range of patients and clients, including veterans, grad students, incarcerated people, those in recovery from substance use, elders, inpatient psychiatry patients, community mental health clients and survivors of domestic violence. She considers it an honor and privilege to work with individuals, couples and families. Karen's approach is open and affirming, and she strives to make every person she works with feel comfortable and accepted.
