Great to meet you!

I have dedicated my career to walking alongside people through some of the most challenging chapters of their lives. My work focuses on helping individuals manage and heal from anxiety, depression, and the profound challenges of grief and loss. With over two decades of clinical experience, I’ve learned that true support means meeting people where they are—with compassion, respect, and a deep understanding of their unique struggles.

In my practice, I provide a safe and grounded space where clients can explore their pain without fear of judgment. Whether someone is overwhelmed by anxiety, weighed down by depression, or grieving the loss of a loved one, I guide them in developing resilience, cultivating self-compassion, and rediscovering a sense of hope. My approach integrates evidence-based interventions with a genuine belief in each person’s capacity to grow through hardship.

Helping people find light in the darkness of grief, calm in the chaos of anxiety, and strength in the depths of depression is not just my profession—it’s my calling.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is grounded in compassion, authenticity, and collaboration. I believe that healing begins in a safe and supportive space where clients feel truly seen and understood. I work to meet each person where they are, honoring their story and helping them navigate the complexities of anxiety, depression, and grief with both care and evidence-based strategies.

I draw from cognitive-behavioral techniques, mindfulness practices, and strengths-based perspectives, while also recognizing the importance of the therapeutic relationship itself as a source of healing. I view therapy as a partnership: together we explore not only the struggles but also the resilience, wisdom, and potential for growth that emerge in the process.

At the core of my work is a commitment to helping people reclaim their voice, rebuild hope, and discover pathways toward peace and meaning—even in the midst of profound loss or overwhelming emotional pain.

What you can expect from me

In our first session together, my goal is to create a space where you feel safe, respected, and heard. We’ll begin by talking about what brought you to therapy—whether it’s anxiety, depression, grief, or a sense of being overwhelmed—and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll ask some questions to better understand your history, current challenges, and the supports you already have in your life.

This session isn’t about quick fixes or pressure; it’s about starting a conversation. You can expect me to listen deeply, reflect back what I hear, and begin to identify patterns or concerns we might explore further. I’ll also explain how I work and answer any questions you may have, so you feel clear and comfortable moving forward.

By the end of our first meeting, you’ll have a sense of what therapy with me looks like and some initial steps we can take together. Most importantly, you’ll leave knowing you don’t have to carry your struggles alone.
