Great to meet you!

I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely heard, understood, and supported as you navigate life’s challenges. As a first-generation Asian American therapist, I understand how culture, family expectations, relationships, and life experiences can shape who we are. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. With over 13 years of experience working with children and families, and 5 years as a licensed therapist, I have a special passion for supporting young adults, couples, families, and older adults through life transitions, relationship challenges, motherhood and postpartum adjustment, grief and loss, self-esteem, cultural and family pressures, and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I believe everyone has their own story, so I tailor therapy to meet you where you are while helping you build on your strengths and work toward meaningful growth and healing. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and strengths-based approaches, depending on your individual needs and goals. I offer Christian counseling where clients have the opportunity to thoughtfully incorporate faith and spirituality into the therapeutic process.

My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself, feel heard, and move forward with greater confidence and hope.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, I’ll have the honor of getting to know you, hearing your story, and understanding what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from our time together. My goal is to create a warm, safe, and welcoming space where you can simply be yourself and feel comfortable sharing even the most vulnerable parts of your life without fear of judgment. Together, we’ll identify what matters most to you and create a thoughtful plan that reflects your needs, hopes, and goals. From there, we’ll move forward at a pace that feels supportive as we work toward healing, growth, and meaningful change.
