Great to meet you!

I’ve been a therapist for over 15 years, working across a variety of settings, and I bring both professional training and personal experience to the work I do. I hold a Master’s degree from the University of Denver and am a Licensed Professional Counselor.

Self-compassion and EMDR have been some of the most useful tools in my own life, and I love offering them to clients as well. I especially enjoy working with parents and new moms navigating the identity shifts and overwhelm that come with that season, as well as parents raising LGBTQ kids. Faith is often a meaningful part of who we are — if it’s important to you, it’s important to me, even if you’re in the middle of a faith crisis right now and not sure where you stand.

My approach to therapy

In our work together, you can expect a balance of addressing current issues and processing past pains. I like to teach concrete skills while holding space for both acceptance and change. You’ll probably hear me say “give yourself grace” and “both things can be true” more than once!

What you can expect from me

Our first session is really about getting to know each other. I’ll want to hear what’s bringing you into therapy now, as well as some of the highlights and lowlights of your life so far. From there, we’ll start shaping a treatment plan together, and I’ll offer some initial hope and guidance for next steps.
