Karen Paster, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, is a dual-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience providing high-quality, evidence-based care across outpatient, crisis, telehealth, and primary care settings. She specializes in conducting comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosing and treating mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and trauma-related conditions, and developing personalized treatment plans that integrate both medication management and supportive therapeutic interventions.
Karen has worked in a large range of clinical environments—including crisis residential programs, outpatient psychiatry, telepsychiatry, pain management, and hospital medicine—allowing her to bring a holistic, medically informed perspective to each patient encounter. Her career includes serving in roles where she coordinated multidisciplinary care, supervised clinical teams, and ensured high standards of quality, safety, and patient education. This broad foundation helps her address both the psychiatric and physical health factors influencing overall well-being.
