Great to meet you!

I specialize in supporting adults navigating anxiety, depression, stress, substance use, addiction and recovery, and life transitions. I also work with individuals living with disabilities, chronic illness, dual diagnoses, and those adjusting to major life changes—whether that’s an empty nest, a new diagnosis, or the weight of uncertainty. I’ve supported individuals moving through cancer treatment and understand the emotional toll health challenges can bring. My role is to be a steady support system—someone who listens deeply, sits with you without judgment, and helps you build coping tools that make everyday life feel lighter and more manageable.

My approach to therapy

I use a holistic, person-centered approach grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and trauma-responsive care. To put it simply:

  • CBT helps us identify unhelpful thought patterns and replace them with healthier ones.
  • Mindfulness supports calm, presence, and emotional regulation.
  • And a person-centered approach means we go at your pace, based on what matters most to you.

I believe therapy works best when it feels collaborative and human—not clinical or overwhelming. I’ll help you learn tools you can use between sessions, because change doesn’t just happen during the hour we meet. Sometimes you’ll need support; other times, gentle challenge. Either way, I’ll walk beside you with compassion, respect, and encouragement.

What you can expect from me

Our first conversation is about getting to know you—what’s been heavy, what you’re hoping to shift, and what support looks like for you. You’ll have space to ask questions, share at your own pace, and feel truly heard. I’ll also offer simple, practical strategies you can begin using right away to help manage stress, anxiety, and emotional overwhelm. My hope is that you leave the session feeling supported, grounded, and less alone.

Outside of work, I’m an empty nester (so if you’re navigating identity shifts, I understand it deeply). I practice mindfulness and meditation, and I love music and believe it is therapeutic —especially classic R&B and rock. Whether we talk about life’s struggles or celebrate progress, you’ll find warmth, understanding, and humanity here.

If you’re ready to begin—or even just considering taking that first step—I’d be honored to support you.
