Great to meet you!

After several years in the corporate environment, I went back to school and graduated with a Masters in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University in 1997. I have over 25 years in private practice working with couples and individuals. Specialities include marital, pre-marital, restoration of marriage after crises. Individual specialities include depression, anxiety, grief recovery and women’s issues.

My approach to therapy

In a supportive therapeutic atmosphere, I hope to inspire clients to build new coping skills and new habits and thought patterns that will help them reach their goals while building the resilience necessary to deal with life challenges.

In our sessions, I use the practice of Mindfulness, Self Compassion, DBT, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients build the inner resources to overcome emotional patterns such as depression and anxiety.

What you can expect from me

During our therapeutic sessions I include specific therapeutic tools that the client can use throughout the week to help cope with depression or anxiety producing situations.
