Great to meet you!

I’m Karen Scoggins, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and founder of Roots and Reverie, LLC. I provide telehealth psychiatric care with a focus on medication management for anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and sleep concerns in children, teens, and adults. My approach is collaborative and supportive, helping clients feel both grounded and hopeful as they work toward their goals. I believe in creating a safe space where every person feels heard, respected, and empowered on their journey to wellness.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is collaborative, supportive, and individualized. I believe that each client’s story is unique, and treatment works best when we work together to find what fits your needs and goals. I specialize in medication management for anxiety, mood disorders, ADHD, and sleep concerns, and I combine evidence-based practices with a compassionate, down-to-earth style. My goal is to help clients feel grounded, supported, and empowered as they build stability and hope for the future.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, clients can expect a welcoming and nonjudgmental space where we take time to get to know each other. I will ask about your history, current concerns, and goals so we can create a treatment plan that feels tailored to your needs. My priority is to help you feel comfortable, heard, and respected from the very beginning. By the end of our first meeting, you can expect to have a clearer understanding of next steps and a collaborative plan for moving forward.
