Dr. Karen provide services to Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey and Texas she is a licensed professional counseling supervisor (LPC-S) in Texas, and licensed mental health counseling supervisor (LMHC-S) in Florida with more than 15 years of counseling experience, offering a unique blend of clinical expertise, trauma-informed care, and spiritually grounded guidance. She has a (MS) in Mental Health Counseling: Traumatology and a EdD. In Community Care Counseling: Traumatology. As the founder of Empowerment & Counseling Firm by Dr. Karen, PLLC, she is dedicated to helping individuals reclaim their voice, rebuild their strength, and rise into the healthiest version of themselves, emotionally, mentally, spiritually, and physically.

Dr. Karen utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches including, but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT, Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, delivered through a holistic framework that addresses the body, mind, soul, and spirit. She provides psychotherapy services for individuals, couples, and families, creating a safe, judgment-free space where healing and transformation can occur.
