Great to meet you!

I’m a licensed therapist with over 25 years of experience, and I specialize in helping people heal from trauma, anxiety, and relationship patterns that feel hard to change. Many of the people I work with feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from themselves, even if they appear “high functioning” on the outside.

My approach is compassionate, direct, and deeply respectful of your pace. I don’t believe in just managing symptoms—I help clients understand and work with their nervous system, so real, lasting change becomes possible. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that are keeping you stuck and build new ways of relating to yourself and others that feel safer and more aligned.

I bring both professional training and lived experience to this work, which allows me to meet clients with genuine understanding and without judgment. Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and focused on helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and connected in your life.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is rooted in understanding how past experiences shape the nervous system, relationships, and patterns we carry into our daily lives. I integrate trauma-informed care with a focus on helping clients feel safer and more regulated in their bodies, not just more aware in their thoughts.

I don’t believe healing happens through insight alone. In our work together, we’ll slow things down and pay attention to what’s happening beneath the surface—your reactions, emotions, and internal patterns—so we can create meaningful and lasting change.

I’m both compassionate and direct. I will support you while also helping you gently challenge the patterns that may be keeping you stuck. Therapy with me is collaborative and tailored to you; there’s no one-size-fits-all approach.

Over time, our work will focus on helping you feel more grounded, more connected to yourself, and more able to navigate your life with clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and what’s bringing you to therapy. You don’t need to have everything figured out or know exactly what to say—this is a space where you can start wherever you are.

We’ll talk about what’s been feeling difficult, any patterns you’ve noticed, and what you’re hoping for moving forward. I’ll also ask some questions to better understand your history and experiences, but we’ll go at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

My goal in the first session is to help you feel at ease and begin building a sense of safety and trust. I’ll also share how I work and we can start to get a sense of what our work together might look like.
