Great to meet you!

I graduated Nova Southeastern University with a Masters in Mental Health Counseling. I provide therapy for children, adolescents and adults as well as substance use and abuse assessments and treatment. I specialize in the treatment of depression, relationship issues, parenting and co-parenting skills, pre-teen and adolescent intervention, first responder assistance, life transitions and empowerment. I am also a Qualified Expert Witness on children and family issues, a Qualified Parenting Coordinator, Collaborative Family Law member and reunification therapist. I work closely with many attorneys and guardian ad litem in the area to assist families with high conflict issues. Several highly respected references available upon request. LGBTQ+ friendly!

My approach to therapy

I primarily provide short term solution based therapy. I am action oriented. I encourage workbooks and reading in between sessions if my client is open to that. I also like to use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy when appropriate, this is a very mindful approach.

What you can expect from me

As long as my client is open to it, I provide a goal for the week and, at the of the session, we will review the session. I also encourage my clients to take notes so that they remember the important points addressed in each session.
