Great to meet you!

Helping You Create the Life You Want

Life's challenges can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of the next step. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, life transitions, trauma, or simply feeling stuck, therapy can provide a supportive space to explore what's happening and create meaningful change. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and empowered as we work together toward the life you want.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and practical. I incorporate Reality Therapy, which focuses on helping clients examine whether their current behaviors are effectively meeting their needs and supporting the life they want to create. Rather than dwelling solely on the past, Reality Therapy emphasizes personal choice, responsibility, and developing realistic, achievable plans for change. Together, we'll identify what's within your control and build strategies that move you toward greater fulfillment and healthier relationships.

I also integrate evidence-based therapeutic approaches tailored to your unique needs, recognizing that no single method works for everyone. I believe therapy should be a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore challenges honestly while developing the tools and confidence to navigate life's obstacles.

What you can expect from me

My background includes holding licensure for 30 years now, working with adults and adolescents working in inpatient and outpatient settings. I've also worked with those struggling with substance abuse issues in residential and outpatient settings.

For those of you interesting in incorporating Christian principles into your sessions, just ask me, and I’m happy to accommodate that as well.

For those that prefer in-person sessions and are close enough to my practice location, I invite you to come in-person! And I also have a big fluffy soft therapy dog available upon request as well. 😊

I look forward to meeting you!
