Great to meet you!

Hey there! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with nearly seven years of experience helping individuals navigate life's challenges and work toward meaningful, lasting change. I earned my Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University and have had the privilege of working in both community mental health and private practice settings, allowing me to support clients from diverse backgrounds with a wide range of concerns.

Throughout my career, I have been committed to creating a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. I believe that therapy is a collaborative process, and I strive to meet each client where they are while helping them build on their strengths, develop healthy coping strategies, and achieve their personal goals.

My approach to therapy

I believe each client is the expert on their own life, and I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where they feel heard and valued. My client-centered approach emphasizes collaboration, meeting each person where they are, and tailoring treatment to their unique goals, strengths, and experiences. Together, we work to foster self-awareness, resilience, and meaningful growth at a pace that feels comfortable and empowering.

What you can expect from me

During a first intake session with me, a client can expect me to ask about their general background, health and mental health factors, family information and any mental health treatment history. My main and sole focus is on meeting the client where you are, stepping in to help in your journey and walking this road with you. That all starts by gaining information on where you are, how you got there, and who is accompanying you on this journey.
