Great to meet you!

As a therapist, mother, artist, and fellow human, I trust in the creative process of transformation, which is often non-linear and incremental. With 15 years of clinical experience in a variety of settings, it is a profound privilege to help you establish a safe, empowering baseline for your care. Bringing my own lived experience of recovery from an eating disorder, I intimately understand the winding nature of change and approach your journey with deep reverence and compassion. I see folks individually, in couples, and in groups, offering paths to come home to their true selves. I am particularly passionate about helping people find freedom from food and weight obsession, alongside navigating anxiety, depression, and relationship challenges. My ultimate goal is to help you access your inner resources so you can live more freely and authentically.

My approach to therapy

My previous career as a performing artist in theater and dance heavily informs how I show up in the world, trusting the emergent and creative process of healing. I believe that meaningful emotional growth happens when we balance clinical expertise with a deeply compassionate, authentic human connection. I draw upon expressive arts, attachment theory, parts work, mindfulness, and somatic practices to address your unique needs. I approach my practice with warmth, humor, and a genuine curiosity toward whatever is discovered in the room. In therapy, we will outline tangible goals to teach you ways to manage stress, navigate difficult emotions, and improve your relationships with absolutely no judgment. By integrating mind, body, and relational dynamics, I am here to guide you toward lasting, sustainable change.

What you can expect from me

Stepping into a therapy session is an invitation to finally drop your guard and take a much-needed break from the stressful demands of daily life. When we first meet, my main priority is to offer a calm, welcoming space where you feel completely accepted exactly as you are. We will explore your personal history, current symptoms, and client-centered goals at a natural, incremental pace, honoring the fact that opening up takes time. There is no rush and no pressure to unpack everything in a single day. Instead, we will use this initial hour to connect, discuss what treatment might look like for you, and collaboratively build a roadmap that helps you feel safe, seen, and supported on your path back to yourself.
