I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in Florida and South Carolina. I am pursuing my doctorate in marriage and family therapy from National University. Areas that I enjoy serving are individuals and families who are dealing with anxiety, depression, and relational conflict. I am passionate about helping my clients learn to manage their mental health concerns and live a fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

My primary model of therapy is cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) due to its evidence-based approach. I have seen great success with this approach with countless clients. I intertwine CBT with attachment-based therapy as it requires the individual to dig in deep to explore the root cause of their problems to move forward in their lives. Then, I introduce dialectal behavioral therapy (DBT) to learn practical skills to maintain progress.

What you can expect from me

The client will learn a great deal about their mental health concerns (ex., anxiety, depression, etc.), the root cause of their problems, unhealthy versus healthy coping skills, self-care strategies, practical skills to manage symptoms, and family dynamics.
