Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Kari! I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 6 years of clinical experience working with children, teens, adults, families, and couples. I like to use Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to provide tangible skills for you to use in real life. I am also trained in EMDR, a treatment for trauma and PTSD.

My approach to therapy

I provide client-centered care, meaning that you are in charge of your own counseling journey as we work together. Our relationship is the most important part of therapy! I am validating and affirming, and will also offer direct feedback if that works for you.

What you can expect from me

My goal is for clients to come away from therapy with tools and skills they can use to improve their relationships and managing intense emotions. I also strive to provide a nonjudgmental space for my clients to share. I believe the power of healing lies within the therapeutic relationship.
