Great to meet you!

According to my mother, my first word was "why." Why is the sky blue? Why can't I have a cookie for breakfast? Why are people hurting? This curiosity is integral to my practice as a psychologist as I strive to understand my clients lived experiences from an empathic and non-judgemental perspective. I am committed to providing a safe space for clients to discuss challenging life experiences, explore opportunities for growth, and acquire meaningful resources to improve their well-being.

My approach to therapy

As a psychologist, I empower clients to make informed decisions about the care they receive and adopt a collaborative, goal-directed approach to treatment. I offer a variety of well-researched treatments and flexibly adapt these interventions to meet the needs, goals, and preferences of my clients. My training has also instilled a strong awareness and sensitivity to cultural factors that impact individuals development and well-being, which I consider with clients in the context of therapy.

What you can expect from me

The first session is primarily focused on getting to know one another. I will ask questions to better understand who you are as an individual and the problems you are facing so I can provide the best possible support. Collaboratively, we will come up with an individualized plan for therapy that meets your needs and goals. Subsequent therapy sessions may differ depending on the treatment approach we decide to take. Throughout the process, I strive to meet clients where they are at and offer meaningful insights, information, and skills for them to become their own therapist and make the life changes they desire.
