Great to meet you!

From my own experience with OCD and anxiety I know that healing is possible and there is light at the end of the tunnel. I can teach you tools and skills so that you are no longer stuck in your OCD or anxiety and can live fully and manage any situation going forward.

My approach to therapy

My practice is focused on helping people with OCD, anxiety (social anxiety, panic, generalized anxiety, phobias), depression, Body Focused Repetitive Behaviors, TICs and related conditions to get back in the driver's seat of their lives. I strive to be warm, authentic, encouraging and empowering and can teach you the skills to free you to live fully in recovery. I use evidenced based, gold standard treatment approaches including ERP, ACT and Behavior Activation coupled with mindfulness and other trauma informed approaches to create a framework for healing. We will collaboratively build a treatment plan and exposure hierarchy to address your individual triggers and unwanted thoughts, images, urges or sensations. You will learn to challenge the part of your brain that is hijacking you and will retrain your brain to tolerate uncertainty and discomfort so you can stop allowing OCD and anxiety to place false limitations on you.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create an authentic, nurturing, judgment free space that honors each client's individual situation, needs and goals. You have done the hardest part by seeking help and I can assure you it is not as scarey as it seems. I feel honored to walk along side each person in their journey to wellness and recovery and am transparent and always happy to share my lived experience as it is helpful to you.
