Great to meet you!

Hi there, I’m Kariana (she/her/hers)! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and the owner of Bloom and Blossom Counseling LLC. I graduated in 2020 with my bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Marshall University. I continued my education and moved to Denver to get my master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver. During my education I learned that I wanted to create a safe and welcoming space for folks to allow themselves to grow, explore, and accept themselves.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is to approach therapy with a non-judgmental, accepting, and compassionate outlook that meets the client where they are at and empower them in their journey. Counseling is a collaborative adventure where we will explore tools that help navigate life’s challenges and develop a deeper understanding of yourself!

What you can expect from me

I specialize working with the queer community, trauma, life transitions, sexuality, gender, career counseling, anxiety, and depression. Being a queer woman, I understand the hardship of trying to find a counselor that just “gets it” and has had a lived experience. My identities inform my personal and professional worldview by showing up and operating from a queer affirming, feminist, and client centered approach.
