Great to meet you!

As a proud U.S. Army veteran and Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), I bring a strong foundation of service, resilience, and dedication to my clinical practice. With extensive experience across diverse and high-acuity settings, I specialize in working with individuals facing complex mental health challenges and life transitions.

My professional background includes frontline roles as a mental health crisis first responder, where I provided immediate intervention and stabilization services for individuals in acute psychiatric distress. I have served in inpatient forensic mental health units, supporting individuals navigating both the criminal justice system and severe psychiatric diagnoses. Additionally, I have worked closely with individuals with cognitive challenges, helping them build skills, self-worth, and independence through strength-based, person-centered approaches.

I have a deep commitment to vulnerable youth, particularly children in foster care and those transitioning into independent living programs. My work focuses on helping them overcome trauma, build resilience, and gain the life skills needed for long-term stability and growth. As a veteran, I have a special passion for serving my fellow servicemembers and understand the unique experiences and challenges they face, both during and after their military service.

My therapeutic approach integrates evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, trauma-informed care, and motivational interviewing. I am committed to creating a safe and non-judgmental space where individuals can heal, grow, and rediscover their sense of purpose. Whether I’m working with adolescents, adults, or veterans, my goal is always to empower each client on their journey toward wellness and self-sufficiency.

My approach to therapy

My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and goal-oriented. I believe each person’s story is unique, so I tailor treatment to fit your needs rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I draw from evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care, while also incorporating mindfulness and strengths-based perspectives. Together, we’ll focus on building insight, developing practical coping strategies, and creating lasting change so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect a safe and supportive space where they will be heard and understood without judgment. Together, we will identify patterns, build coping skills, and create practical strategies tailored to your needs. You’ll leave sessions with greater clarity, tools to manage challenges, and a deeper understanding of yourself. My goal is to empower you to navigate life with more confidence, resilience, and hope.
