Great to meet you!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been in the social work field for over twenty years. I'm more passionate than ever about helping people reach their potential and break free of old patterns. I enjoy working with adults (including older adults) around issues of grief and loss, depression, and anxiety. I love working with the LGBTQIA+ community (bringing lived experience), and individuals with chronic health conditions or disabilities.

My approach to therapy

I believe that the relationship I build with my clients is the most important variable in therapy. A strong connection in therapy allows folks to feel safe enough to share their hopes, dreams, fears, and insecurities. I utilize a humanistic framework and often draw from strength-based therapy, grief work, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, among others. My experiences working in both medical and mental health settings (such as hospices, hospitals, and psychiatric programs) inform my work.

What you can expect from me

I strive to create a safe space where you will feel seen, heard, and validated in your lived experience. I also want to equip you with the knowledge and confidence to help you succeed.
