My name is Karin, I am a licensed clinical social worker with several years of experience providing effective and compassionate psychotherapy.
I utilize a Relational Cultural approach in my work with clients. I work to foster a sense of safety, and collaboration with my clients in order to meet goals and create change.
I believe in a collaborative approach to therapy. You and I will decide together what styles and treatments would work best for you. I have expertise in several different treatment modalities such as Relational Cultural Therapy (RCT), Person Centered Therapy, Interpersonal Psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), components of DBT, and more.
At our first session my goal is to get to know you! Everything you share will help us figure out an effective plan for therapy.
I hope my client's are able to find their inner strengths, coping skills for difficult situations, and strengthening of their current relationships.
