Great to meet you!

If you’ve been trying to make sense of your thoughts, emotions, or patterns for a long time and still feel stuck, you’re not alone. Many of the people I work with are capable, thoughtful individuals who feel overwhelmed internally, reactive in relationships, or frustrated that insight alone hasn’t brought the relief they hoped for. Therapy can be a place where things slow down enough to understand what’s really happening—and where self-acceptance begins to replace self-criticism.

I’m a licensed professional counselor with over 20 years of experience, and I genuinely love the work I do. What continues to matter most to me is witnessing those moments when clients feel relief—when something finally clicks, or when they begin to soften toward themselves instead of constantly pushing or judging.

I work from a cognitive and relational perspective, helping clients understand how thoughts, emotions, and long-standing patterns interact. I also integrate additional approaches, including EFT Tapping, when helpful. Therapy with me is thoughtful and flexible. I adapt our work to what feels most supportive for you.

My approach to therapy

What you can expect from me

In the first session, clients can expect a calm, supportive space where there is no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll focus on understanding what’s been feeling most difficult, how your nervous system has been responding, and what patterns may be contributing to distress.

Rather than rushing to solutions, the goal is to help things slow down enough to begin making sense. Many clients leave the first session feeling more grounded, clearer about what they’re experiencing, and less alone with it. From there, we can decide together what next steps feel most helpful.
