Great to meet you!

I see therapy as a collaboration between two individuals working together toward a better life for you. While I bring experience and tools from the field of mental health, I believe every client is the true expert on themselves. My role is to walk alongside you, offering guidance, perspective, and support, while honoring that you are the ultimate guide in our sessions.

I often incorporate humor and friendly conversation into our work together, creating a comfortable space where therapy can feel less formal and more like a natural dialogue. Many clients share that at times they even forget they are “in therapy” because of the ease of our conversations. My goal is to make sessions feel effortless yet deeply meaningful—supporting growth and change while helping you feel truly seen and understood.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy should meet you exactly where you are on your journey. My approach is integrative, meaning I draw from different therapeutic methods to provide what is most helpful for you as an individual. I often utilize skills from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to strengthen coping strategies and expand your toolkit for managing life’s challenges.

At the same time, I ground my work in Person-Centered Therapy and Positive Psychology, creating a collaborative space where you feel supported, empowered, and not alone in the process. Therapy, to me, is something we do together—a partnership focused on helping you discover resilience, growth, and meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know one another and building a foundation for our work together. I’ll start by sharing my approach and philosophy so you have a clear sense of what therapy with me is like—before you feel any pressure to open up. From there, I’ll ask some background questions to better understand your story and where therapy may need to go. We’ll also talk about safety, set expectations, and make a plan for our future sessions so you leave feeling supported and prepared for the journey ahead.
