Great to meet you!

I help over-functioning women who feel stuck, burned out, or overwhelmed rediscover clarity, balance, and a sense of self beyond their roles and responsibilities. My approach combines deep empathy with practical tools, so our sessions aren't just about talking, but about creating lasting change that you can carry into your daily life.

With over 16 years of experience, I've worked in private practice and community mental health, and I've trained hundreds of law enforcement personnel in empathy, emotional regulation, and resilience. That background gives me a wide lens. I understand the weight of stress, anxiety, depression, and the patterns that keep people stuck, and how small shifts can open up real freedom.

In our work together, you can expect a style that's warm, validating, and collaborative. I'll meet you where you are, bring honest insights, and provide strategies that actually fit into your life. Drawing on evidence-based strategies as needed, always tailoring our work to your unique goals and needs.

I am licensed in Illinois and primarily work with women navigating burnout, anxiety, life transitions, struggling with boundaries, people-pleasing patterns, and that nagging sense of "I've lost myself."

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is both compassionate and practical. I believe therapy should be a space where you feel deeply seen and validated, but also one where you leave with tools that you can actually use in your daily life. I take a holistic approach, drawing from evidence-based practices like CBT, ACT, Narrative therapy, and attachment work, but I always tailor our sessions to your unique needs and goals.

At the core, I see therapy as a collaborative process. I'm not here to "fix" you, but to walk alongside you, helping you understand the patterns that keep you stuck, untangle burnout and stress, and build healthier boundaries that create more freedom and joy. My style is warm, direct, and relational. I'll listen deeply, ask meaningful questions, and sometimes bring humor when it helps lighten the load.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect more than just a consultation. We'll spend time talking through what brought you here, what you're hoping to work on, and any goals or concerns you'd like to share. It's also an opportunity for us to get to know each other and determine if we're a good fit. At the heart of therapy is the relationship, and real progress happens when you feel safe, understood, and comfortable opening up.

I'll ask questions to gain a sense of your history and current challenges, while also leaving space for you to guide the conversation at your own pace. My goal is for you to walk away from the first session feeling heard, supported, and a little lighter, knowing you don't have to carry it all alone.
