Great to meet you!

I am a double board -certified Nurse Practitioner in Psychiatry and Medicine Surgical nursing, with 20 years of experience caring for patients across hospital and outpatient settings. I graduated from the University of Miami and served as a Unit Head Nurse, where I developed a deep understanding of how stress, inflammation and physical health influences emotional wellbeing. I also hold a Master's degree in Nursing Education, reflecting my dedication to service and my passion for helping patients and families improve their health through knowledge and collaboration.

My call to start outpatient psychiatry practice came from a desire to promote comprehensive, whole-person assessments that bridge mental and physical health. I am passionate about helping people connect the dots between mind and body, especially when managing anxiety, depression, trauma, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD).

Many of my patients come to me feeling stuck in cycles of overthinking or stress related symptoms. Together, we work on regaining calm, control, and clarity through therapy, lifestyle balance and self-awareness.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, structured, and collaborative. I believe in listening deeply to understand each person’s story and providing education that empowers them to take an active role in their care. Together, we focus on finding practical, sustainable ways to heal, emotionally and physically, that fits real life. I integrate both medical and psychological perspectives to support whole-person wellness and lasting balance.

What you can expect from me

Your first visit is a relaxed, in-depth conversation where we take time to understand your story, not just your symptoms. We’ll explore your mood, stress, sleep, lifestyle, and medical history to create a personalized plan that may include therapy, medication, or lifestyle strategies. Sessions are never rushed; we focus on education, collaboration, and helping you feel empowered and understood from day one.
