Great to meet you!

I have often been told that I am warm, empathic and people leave feeling heard and understood. I am drawn to the genuine connection developed in the therapy room and work really hard to preserve the safety that is needed to encounter some of our deepest pain. I hope that my clients will feel a sense of "togetherness" as we journey into the parts of ourselves that have been lost at times

My approach to therapy

I work with individuals who seek wholeness and integration so that their "inside matches their outside," as I like to say. I utilize an eclectic approach and with a trauma-informed attachment perspective. I have been trained in treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma Focused- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Schema Therapy and have received training regarding working with victims of sexual abuse.

What you can expect from me

I have found that as we sift through life experiences, the thoughts, feelings and beliefs that have been developed about the world, self & others tend to make sense. I then want to provide a space to examine the roots of our life, honor these roots, & integrate them into your current framework. While the counseling process can often be uncomfortable, I find that clients return week to week because they are finding new rhythms in their life that they did not know were possible.
