Great to meet you!

I offer a safe, healing environment to people of all ages and abilities. I bring over twenty-five years of experience with individuals and families challenged by neurodiversity, intellectual differences, Cerebral Palsy, Traumatic Brain Injury, and behavioral challenges. I am experienced in addressing depression, anxiety, PTSD and intergenerational family issues.

With experience in agency and group practice, I share calm compassion and empathy nonjudgmentally to assist others in overcoming challenges and reaching their full potential.

My approach to therapy

I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Parent Training. I am EMDR-trained, a Registered Play Therapist (RPT), and AUT Play Certified.

What you can expect from me

The first session is all about building a foundation of comfort and safety. Think of it as a 'get to know you' time where Anneke focuses on hearing your family's story and understanding your child’s world. While she will gather some necessary history, the primary goal is to ensure your child feels welcome and at ease. There’s no pressure to have all the answers—it’s simply the first step in our collaborative journey toward healing and growth.
