Great to meet you!

I’m a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) dedicated to walking alongside clients as they navigate life’s challenges, transitions, and healing journeys. My practice is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves a safe space to be fully seen, heard, and supported — especially when they’re feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck. I work with teens, young adults, and adults, and I have experience supporting individuals managing anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, and concerns related to the autism spectrum. I offer therapy in both English and Spanish to ensure language is never a barrier to feeling understood. What sets me apart is my commitment to creating a therapeutic space that is gentle but honest, calm but collaborative, and grounded in empathy. Clients often describe me as someone who is easy to talk to, steady in presence, and thoughtful in my approach. I understand that therapy isn’t a one-size-fits-all experience. That’s why I meet each person where they are emotionally, mentally, and culturally, honoring their lived experience while helping them navigate growth at their own pace. Before becoming a therapist, I spent years studying human behavior, emotional regulation, and family systems — all of which shaped the way I hold space for others today. I truly enjoy helping people connect the dots between their past experiences and present patterns, but I also know how important it is to focus on the here and now. Whether you’re new to therapy or returning after time away, I’m here to create a space where healing feels possible and change doesn’t have to be rushed.Above all, I want you to know that you don’t have to “have it all together” to start therapy. You just have to be willing to show up — and I’ll be here to support you with kindness, curiosity, and care every step of the way.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is collaborative, flexible, and deeply person-centered. I see therapy as a partnership — a shared space where you can explore, question, unpack, and rebuild, all at a pace that feels right for you. I pull from several therapeutic frameworks to meet your unique needs, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Narrative Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). This integrative approach allows me to tailor sessions based on your goals, your comfort level, and where you are in your healing process.CBT helps us examine the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Narrative therapy invites you to re-author the story you’ve been told — or have told yourself — about who you are. Psychodynamic work allows us to gently explore how your past may be influencing your present. And solution-focused techniques support short-term, actionable steps when you’re ready to move forward. I don’t believe in rigid structures or forcing a specific method; instead, I use these approaches as tools to support your voice, not to override it.I also prioritize cultural responsiveness, especially when working with clients from marginalized or underserved communities. As a bilingual therapist, I am mindful of how identity, language, and systemic factors shape our mental health experiences. I welcome your full self into the therapy room — the parts you celebrate and the parts you’re still figuring out.You won’t find judgment here. Just curiosity, support, and a shared commitment to helping you feel more aligned, regulated, and in control of your emotional world.

What you can expect from me

Clients often enter therapy seeking clarity, relief, and a sense of direction — and those are exactly the things I hope you walk away with. In our sessions, you can expect a thoughtful mix of emotional exploration, skill-building, and space to simply be. You don’t have to have all the answers or even know where to start. My role is to meet you wherever you are, help you explore what’s working (and what isn’t), and offer guidance and reflection as you begin to reconnect with your own wisdom and resilience. You’ll likely leave sessions with a deeper understanding of yourself — not just what you feel, but why you feel that way. We may work on building coping skills, managing anxious thoughts, identifying unhelpful patterns, or strengthening your communication and boundaries. At times, sessions may feel reflective and insight-oriented; other times they may be focused on practical problem-solving or emotional regulation. But in every session, my intention is to offer something meaningful and applicable to your life.Over time, clients often report feeling more confident, emotionally grounded, and better equipped to navigate stress, relationships, or internal challenges. Even when the work is deep or uncomfortable, I strive to create a space that feels emotionally safe and supportive.Therapy isn’t always easy — but it’s deeply rewarding. My hope is that with each session, you feel a little more connected to yourself, a little more empowered in your choices, and a little more hopeful about what’s possible ahead.
