Great to meet you!

I am licensed in both DC and VA and have over 6 years of experience supporting clients in various mental health spaces including community mental health, impatient, and private practice. My therapeutic style is down to earth, warm, and conversational. I have a specific interest in working with clients who are navigating anxiety, bipolar disorder, and relationship challenges.

My approach to therapy

I align with an eclectic approach, pulling from aspects of psychodynamic, CBT, mindfulness, and attachment-based modalities. As a person-centered therapist, I seek to walk alongside clients and empower them to find their own solutions. I place importance on a client's early experiences and relationships, leaning into attachment-based and psychodynamic modalities. We may also take a look at the core beliefs and thoughts that are no longer serving you and identify what feels more aligned and empowering. My practice is grounded in the belief that everyone deserves compassionate and affirming care and my goal is to create a welcoming space for all clients.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. I'll ask you about your needs and what brings you to therapy. While the first few sessions may involve more questions than usual, please know that this isn't meant to feel intrusive. It's simply to help me get a well-rounded picture of who you are and your life experiences.

We'll also work together to establish goals you want to prioritize during our time together, making sure we're on the same page from the very beginning.
