Great to meet you!

I am child and family therapist with training in Expressive arts therapy and Synergetic Play therapy. I have worked as a LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the mental health community and in private practice for over 9 years now. I have experience working with neuro-divergent children, teens, and families with unique needs. I specialize in behavioral issues, grief and loss, life transitions, trauma, and social anxiety.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use a non directive and non judgmental approach with all clients, caregivers, and families. You get to explore the parts of yourself that you might hold in, mask, or ignore. I witness and sit with the emotions that come up and co-regulate with you. I use play, expressive arts, and mindfulness techniques that help clients explore those parts and give them a safe space to get to the heart of what needs to be expressed and healed.

What you can expect from our first session

I track progress with long term and short term goals that focus on a decrease in symptoms and an increase in growth experiences. I establish a partnership with caregivers to discuss and track progress as well as offer support. For teens and young adults, I encourage and empower them to be responsible for self reflection on their growth and self care.

Overall, I aim for clients to come away from therapy with a meaningful experience that helps them feel more connected to self and others.
