Great to meet you!

Hello there, my name is Karla Perez and I am a bilingual Spanish Speaking Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I completed my Bachelors of Arts and Master's Degree in Social Work all from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). I have over 10 years of clinical experience working with individuals coping with depression, anxiety, adjusting to major life changes, relationship problems, healing childhood traumas, self-esteem, parenting, among others.

My approach to therapy

I take a compassionate, non-judegemental, warm, and empathetic approach to therapy. Every human being is on their own healing journey. For me it is an honor to be part of this healing process. As no human being should be in their healing journey alone. My theraputic approach is tailored to every persons unique needs. I utilized a variety of modalities such as, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, Psychodynamic, Client Centered, Trauma Informed and others.

What you can expect from me

A safe space where one can explore their deepest emotions, thoughts, and feelings without judgement. A trusting theraputic relationship that I believe can be a tool in the healing journey. My hope above all is that you heal from past emotional wounds, that you create meaning from the emotional pain, and learn new and healthy ways of coping to live a more fulfilling life.
