Great to meet you!
Hello, and ¡Hola!
If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or ready for change, therapy can offer a space to pause, gain understanding, and find a path forward.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of experience supporting youth, individuals, couples, law enforcement professionals, and families throughout New York. I offer therapy and coaching in English and Spanish, using an attachment-based, systemic, intersectional, and strengths-based approach.
I believe in understanding the whole person within their environment. Culture, gender, identity, immigration, acculturation, family separation, socioeconomic circumstances, and intergenerational expectations can all shape emotional well-being and relationships. I also recognize how traditional gender roles and heterosexual social expectations influence communication, marriage, parenting, boundaries, and family dynamics. My approach considers these intersecting experiences without judgment or assumptions.
I support clients navigating anxiety, ADHD, depression, life transitions, relationship challenges, communication difficulties, and boundary concerns. I also help parents and families address school refusal, behavioral challenges, and parent-child conflict through psychoeducation and practical strategies.
Additionally, I support individuals who use substances to cope with stress, burnout, or trauma through a compassionate, harm-reduction approach incorporating DBT-informed strategies, Motivational Interviewing, and Behavioral Self-Control Training.
Our work is collaborative and nonjudgmental. Together, we can build on your strengths, deepen self-awareness, develop practical skills, and create meaningful changes.
You deserve to feel heard, understood, and supported within the context of all the experiences, relationships, and communities that shape who you are.
