Great to meet you!

Hello, I’m Karla Ramírez, LCSW. I help children, teens, adults, and caregivers who feel overwhelmed, anxious, or emotionally exhausted find calm and clarity. My trauma-informed approach blends evidence-based therapy with mindfulness, expressive arts, and body-based techniques to support healing and resilience. I offer bilingual (English/Spanish), culturally responsive care and strive to create a space where you feel safe, understood, and supported. Together, we focus on practical tools to help you feel more grounded, balanced, and connected.

My approach to therapy

My therapy style is supportive, practical, and focused on lasting change. I use trauma-informed and evidence-based approaches alongside mindfulness and body-based techniques to help reduce anxiety, regulate emotions, and improve coping skills. We work together to understand patterns, develop effective tools, and create meaningful shifts in everyday life. Therapy is tailored to your goals and respects your cultural identity and personal values.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a space to slow down and feel heard. We’ll talk about what has been weighing on you, what you hope will change, and any important background that can help guide our work. I will explain how I approach therapy, answer any questions you may have, and together we’ll begin identifying priorities and a path forward. You will also leave with a practical tool to better understand yourself and begin self-regulating in everyday moments.
