Great to meet you!

Choosing a therapist is an important step, and I believe it’s essential that you know who you’re trusting with your story.

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families through life’s challenges. My work has primarily focused on anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, emotional regulation, self-esteem, parenting concerns, relationship challenges, and life transitions. As a school-based mental health professional, I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents while also collaborating closely with parents, educators, and families to promote emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and individualized. I believe that every person has a unique story, and there is no “one-size-fits-all” approach to healing. Together, we will create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace.

I also believe that mental health extends beyond simply treating problems. It involves learning to understand yourself, recognizing your strengths, setting healthy boundaries, and creating a life that aligns with your values.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your child, your family, or your parenting journey, I am committed to walking alongside you with empathy, authenticity, and respect. Therapy is a partnership, and I consider it a privilege to be part of your healing journey.

My approach to therapy

I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, mindfulness strategies, and solution-focused techniques, while tailoring each session to meet your specific goals and needs. My goal is not only to help you manage symptoms but to help you build resilience, develop healthy coping skills, strengthen relationships, and create lasting change.

What you can expect from me

As your therapist, you can expect a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, respected, and valued. My goal is to create a space where you can be your authentic self without fear of criticism or shame.

You can expect me to:

  • Listen with empathy and compassion while honoring your unique experiences.
  • Build a trusting therapeutic relationship based on honesty, respect, and confidentiality.
  • Meet you where you are, recognizing that healing looks different for everyone.
  • Collaborate with you to establish meaningful goals that align with your values and priorities.
  • Provide evidence-based interventions tailored to your individual needs while remaining flexible in our approach.
  • Help you identify patterns, build healthy coping skills, strengthen resilience, and develop practical strategies for navigating life’s challenges.
  • Encourage self-awareness, personal growth, and empowerment while supporting you through difficult emotions and transitions.
  • Offer gentle accountability and honest feedback when it serves your therapeutic goals, always with compassion and respect.
  • Celebrate your progress, no matter how small, and remind you that healing is often a journey rather than a destination.
