Great to meet you!

Hello! My name is Karlie and I have been in the human services field for about 10 years. I graduated with a MSW from Arizona State University in 2019. My husband has served in the US Army for 20+ years. We have 4 children ages mid-twenties to elementary school. I also work in the community mental-health field. I work with toddlers doing PCIT all the way to seniors living in long-term care homes. I am certified in TF-CBT, trauma focused therapy, and PCIT for families with young children.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is the clients know themselves the best. They usually have the answers they need and I am just here to help them realize that and to support them on their healing and wellness journey. I also heavily rely on the person-in-environment perspective. This helps me to understand that individuals do not exist in a vacuum and that people are a result of their environments and experiences. I chose to meet people where they are that day.

What you can expect from me

Empowerment, support, understanding, problem-solving, empathy, healthy push-back.
