Great to meet you!

Hello! I'm Karlos Lyons, LPC. I am clinician with experience in private practice, partial hospitalization programming, and intensive outpatient programming. I've done a copious amount of individual, couple, and family therapy. My specialties are adolescents (ages 12- 18), men's issues, couples therapy, BlPOC mental health, addictions and substance abuse, identity, anxiety, stress management, and faith-based counseling. I hold a Masters of Art in Counseling from Dallas Seminary.

My approach to therapy

I see the importance of the holistic approach to mental health. I recognize the connection between the physical, spiritual, and mental aspects of the human experience, and want to see my clients balance and succeed in each area for optimum wellness. Core to my belief is the truth that when we change our brains and mindsets, we change our lives. Each person has a specific purpose for living. I offer a non-judgmental environment where clients are able to express their thoughts and emotions.

What you can expect from me

My clients can expect to take away a mindfulness practice, some intentional, yet light therapeutic homework before the next session, and a holistic approach to wellness. If you seek to discover wholeness, healing, and wellness in your state of mind and life, I want to collaborate with you using the strategy and intelligence of psychotherapy & mindfulness.
