Great to meet you!

I believe in creating individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Therapy, in my view, should be a positive, collaborative experience of growth and healing. I encourage clients to actively partner with me throughout the therapeutic process, ensuring that their voice, preferences, and priorities remain at the center of our work.

I specialize in working with a wide range of concerns, including depression, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), trauma, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), relationship issues, self-esteem, peer relationships, anger management, codependency, coping skills, eating disorders, grief, women’s issues, children, family conflict, gender identity, gender dysphoria, and military family dynamics. My primary areas of focus are trauma-related work and couples counseling.

I bring 18 years of experience as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, having worked primarily in private practice, with additional experience in dual diagnosis treatment settings. I hold certifications and advanced training in evidence-based trauma treatments, including EMDR, Brainspotting, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), and I am a Gottman Level 3 trained couples therapist. I am also a Qualified Supervisor for the state of Florida, supporting the next generation of mental health professionals.

What drives my work is not just my professional training, but also personal experiences that have deepened my empathy and commitment to helping others through life’s most difficult and personal challenges. I believe that rapport, trust, and a genuine connection are essential for meaningful therapy, and it’s my privilege to walk alongside my clients on their path to healing.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I often incorporate EMDR, Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Gottman Method interventions in my practice, depending on each client’s unique needs. In your first session, we’ll spend time exploring what brought you to therapy, discuss your goals, and collaborate on the most effective approaches to help you move forward and make meaningful progress.

What you can expect from our first session

I work with clients who are navigating depression, trauma, and emotional pain stemming from relationships, past abuse, or family issues. In our initial sessions, we’ll take time to deeply explore the challenges you’re facing and collaborate on a personalized plan to help you regain a sense of control and well-being. Many of my clients begin to notice a gradual lifting of symptoms and an improvement in their overall outlook within the first month of our work together.
