Great to meet you!

Hola, I'm Karoline — a bilingual (English/Spanish) Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience. Whether you're feeling stuck in your own head, struggling in your relationship, or watching your family hit the same painful patterns over and over, I'm here to help — and you don't have to figure it out alone.

I trained first as a clinical psychologist at the Universidad Central de Venezuela and went on to earn my master's here in the United States. Between my work in private practice and within the school system, I've gained deep experience supporting individuals, couples, and families — including kids and adolescents. Many of the people I work with are Latina/o or come from multicultural families, and I understand firsthand how culture, language, and family shape who we are. Atiendo en español — este es un espacio donde te vas a sentir comprendida.

My approach to therapy

My approach is systemic, which means I look at you in the context of your relationships and the systems around you — because we don't struggle (or heal) in a vacuum. It's rooted in empathy and genuine connection, and my goal is to help individuals, couples, and families navigate life's challenges while creating real, lasting growth.

Whether you're coming in on your own or with the people you love, I'll help you understand the patterns underneath what you're feeling and build healthier ways of relating — to yourself and to each other. The work flexes to fit you, your relationships, and what you most want to change.

What you can expect from me

You can expect a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and respected — no pressure to share everything at once. In our first session, we'll talk about what's brought you in, what you're hoping for, and I'll ask questions to really understand your concerns and what's been weighing on you.

From there, we'll start shaping a path forward together. Mostly, I want you to leave that first conversation feeling understood and hopeful that things can get better — for you, and for the relationships that matter most to you.
