Great to meet you!

Life is full of unexpected challenges, and I know firsthand how difficult it can be to navigate anxiety, depression, and family struggles. Growing up, I witnessed the complexities of relationships, the weight of unspoken emotions, and the impact that life transitions can have on mental well-being. These experiences ignited my passion for helping others find clarity, healing, and hope in the midst of life’s uncertainties.

I earned my Masters degree from Chapman University, where I focused on understanding the deep connection between thought patterns, emotions, and behavior. My work in community mental health has provided me with invaluable experience in supporting individuals from diverse backgrounds, each with their own unique struggles and strengths. I am deeply committed to culturally responsive care, recognizing that mental health is shaped by personal experiences, family dynamics, and cultural identity.

Above all, I believe in the power of a trusting therapeutic relationship. Healing isn’t just about techniques—it’s about feeling heard, validated, and understood. My goal is to provide a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your emotions, uncover your strengths, and work toward the life you envision for yourself.

No matter where you are in your journey, you don’t have to walk it alone. I’m here to support you, one step at a time.

My approach to therapy

I strive to treat every individual with respect, understanding, and cultural sensitivity, recognizing that our backgrounds, beliefs, and life experiences shape who we are. I understand that asking for help can feel daunting, but I believe that building a trusting relationship is the foundation for meaningful healing. Together, we will create a space where you feel truly seen, heard, and supported.

In our work together, I also welcome the exploration of spirituality as a source of meaning, resilience, and healing. For many, faith or personal spiritual beliefs play a vital role in navigating life’s struggles, and I honor the role that these perspectives can have in the therapeutic process. Whether spirituality is a central part of your identity or something you are curious to explore, we can integrate it into our work in a way that feels authentic and meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me

Our first session I will take the lead asking you about yourself, your goal for therapy, your dreams and some history all to get a sense of who you are.

My clinical approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while incorporating Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) techniques, narrative therapy, and solution-focused strategies. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all method; instead, I take my cues from you—your experiences, strengths, and personal goals—acting as a facilitator in your journey of growth and self-discovery.

No matter where you are on your path, you deserve support that honors who you are and where you've been. Together, we can work toward healing, clarity, and a future that feels more aligned with the life you want to create.

Let’s take that next step together.
