Great to meet you!

I am a faith-based Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified Master NLP Empowerment Coach, and the Founder and Clinical Director of Total Life Counseling & Wellness Center (TLC). My clinical experience includes counseling youth ages 12 and older, teens, adults, couples, and families.

I currently specialize in focused, private-pay intensive therapy for clients who desire more time and depth than traditional weekly sessions provide. These intensive services are not billed to insurance.

I also lead a group practice with qualified clinicians who provide traditional ongoing therapy and accept select insurance plans. If intensive therapy with me is not the best fit for your needs, availability, or budget, a TLC clinician may be able to support you through insurance-based services, subject to clinical fit, availability, and verification of benefits.

For more information about intensive therapy or insurance-based services through TLC, please contact our office at (404) 446-0300.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is integrative, strengths-based, trauma-informed, and holistic. I draw from Biblical Integration, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and Reality Therapy. I tailor these approaches to each client’s unique needs, experiences, and treatment goals.

I believe that meaningful healing involves understanding the connection between the mind, body, and spirit. Together, we will identify how your experiences have influenced the way you think, feel, and respond. I will help you recognize unhelpful patterns, challenge limiting beliefs, process unresolved experiences, and develop practical tools that support emotional wellness and intentional change.

Our work will be collaborative, compassionate, and focused on helping you understand how you show up, why you show up that way, and how to choose who you want to be. Biblical integration is available and incorporated according to each client’s personal beliefs, preferences, and therapeutic goals.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a compassionate, collaborative conversation focused on understanding what brings you to therapy, the concerns you would like to address, and the changes you hope to experience. We will explore relevant aspects of your personal and family history, including intergenerational patterns that may influence how you think, feel, relate, and respond today.

I may also provide practical psychoeducation about trauma, the brain and nervous system, emotional patterns, relationships, and personal growth. Spiritual integration will be incorporated according to your beliefs, preferences, and therapeutic goals. You will not be pressured to disclose or process more than you are ready to address; together, we will establish a focused direction for our work that feels emotionally safe, meaningful, and aligned with your goals.
