Great to meet you!

Our inner critics can be relentless and cruel. We speak to ourselves in ways we would NEVER speak to a friend. And, as if our inner monologues weren't enough, there's the constant bombardment of messaging from all directions telling us what we need to "fix" to be good enough. That noise is enough to make even the most grounded person feel hopeless at times. But it does not have to be this way.

My approach to therapy

You can make peace with your inner monologue and your body. You can have a happier relationship with your partner. You can know that you are good enough. I want to hear what you have to say. I use a compassion-focused approach and weave in neuroscience to help you understand what makes you you. I bring years of Director-level experience leading other therapists, nurses, and dietitians to help clients find relief and healing.

What you can expect from me

I believe that therapy does not have to be stuffy or pretentious. It can be a place for you to get to know yourself and what you need with a kind and authentic professional guiding you in doing just that. Therapy with me often feels casual, approachable, humorous, and human. I am not saying it will be easy. It won't. What I can say is that you will not be alone as you go through the healing process. If that sounds like a good fit, reach out and let's talk!
